Dear Bruce, Heather, Robert and family, We are so saddened to hear of Ailsa's passing. The Fraser family has always been such a big part of our lives. From when Bruce and Ailsa first meet Mum and Dad on the Milford track on their honeymoon to the arrival of all we children the inter generational friendships that blossomed. A very special and treasured bond. Aisla was an enormous part of that. Always welcoming, generous and loving in our interactions. Always taking a keen interest in what was happening in your life and giving it value. A rare quality. As children we had many fun adventures at Whaka Terrace, Hackthorne Road and Methven under the watchful eye of Ailsa and Bruce. Treasured memories. Ailsa and Bruce have had a wonderful marriage and seemingly left no stone unturned especially with their love of family. Bruce, this will be an especially difficult loss for you so sending you so sending a big hug. She was a very special person and will be missed. RIP Ailsa and thank you for the friendship and love you brought into our lives. We will always treasure that. Gillian, I and Keith are sorry we are unable to attend the funeral today but will be watching online and there with you all in spirit. Much love to you all, Margot, Gillian, Keith and Family
