With heavy hearts, we share that Alex (Grizz) passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at his home in Picton, surrounded by loving family.

Beloved soulmate of and best friend to Jenny. Loved father and father-in-law to Craig and Jane, Jacq, Kirstin & Tim, Amanda, and adored stepfather and father-in-law to Kate & Matt, Anna & Luke. Grandfather to Samuel, Pippa, Oscar, Charlie, Maddox, Joe, Finn, Izzy, Brooke, Paige, Cooper, Charlie, Eddie, Ru.

As per Alex’s wishes, a private family cremation has been held. There will be a memorial in his honour to celebrate his life at Glenmark Rugby Club on Sunday, April 6, at 2pm, where stories will be shared, glasses will be raised.
