To my dear friend Ali. Thank you for all the great times and laughs we had together, over my whole lifetime. You were a second Mum to me from when I was a wee girl in Rossall Street. You always supported me, and took an interest in my long walk, through the length of New Zealand. You always had a spare bed for me to use on my many visits to Christchurch. And thanks for the 'Ali Loaf' recipe, which I make regularly! We spoke only last month, and we had no idea that it would be our last chat and laugh!
