Passed away peacefully, on November 12 ,2024, aged 86 years. Dearly loved wife of Fin, devoted mother of Jane, Gerald, and Simon (deceased). Cherished grandmother of Fionnuala, Sarah, Hugh, Molly, Laura, Niamh, and Stella. Barbara will be remembered with love by her family and many friends, for her warmth, humour, hospitality, and kindness. Though recent years were challenging, her vibrant spirit and caring nature left a lasting impression on all who knew her. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff and residents of the Cressy Unit at Arvida Ilam for their compassionate care and the sense of community they shared with Barbara.
