On Monday July 22, 2024, Carol passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at Christchurch Hospital, following a stroke, aged 79 years. Devoted wife to John for 60 years, after just celebrating their Diamond Wedding Anniversary. A devoted and loving mother of Peter, Mark, and Suzanne (Sue), grandmother of Emma, Daniel, Paris, and Lleyton, and mother-in-law of Shelley, and Tony.

Carol was a great friend to many and will be remembered for her passion for fabric and design. Messages may be addressed to John Bromley and family, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545.   A celebration of Carol’s life will be held in our Rangiora Chapel, Wai-mana, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora, on Saturday, July 27 at 2.30pm, followed by a private cremation.
