On Monday, October 7, 2024, passed away peacefully at Darfield Hospital, surrounded by family, aged 91 years. Dearly loved husband of Olive for 67 precious years. Loved and respected father and father-in-law of Lorraine and Paul, Jennifer and Mark, and Sandra and Neil. Cherished granddad of David, Daniel, Rachael, Tracey, James and Jacob. Treasured great-granddad of Lucy, Ava, Ellie, Charlie and George. Many thanks to the staff of Darfield Hospital and also to the staff of the Darfield Medical Centre for their kindness to Colin, and to his many friends who popped ‘round for a chat’.
