On Saturday, October 5, 2024, peacefully at Parklands Hospital, surrounded by his family, aged 83 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Pauline for 59 years, loved father and father-in-law of Paul and Janine, Rebecca, Catherine and Lincoln, Matthew and Fiona, treasured Grandad of Henry, Oscar, Lila; Emily, Anabel, and Charles. Beloved brother and brother-in-law of John and Margaret, and Ron, and a loved brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many more. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Parklands Hospital for their care and attention of Derek.
