With family at her side, Helen slipped away peacefully, aged 84, on March 21, 2025, after a short illness. Treasured Mum, mother-in-law and Granny to Deborah McNeill, Christine and Wayne Harper, Steven and Annie Cole, Alastair (James) Sarson, and Marley and Bodie Harper. Special thanks to the staff at Christchurch and Burwood Hospitals, and Alpine View Care Centre. At Helen’s request, she was cremated and a celebratory gathering in her honour will be held at 3pm on Saturday, April 12, at Riccarton House, Christchurch.
