It was very sad to hear of Richard's death. My very deepest sympathies to family and his close friends. Over 40+ years I've had the occasional pleasure of catching up with Richard, usually over a red wine, where we'd put the world to right, usually from opposite ends of the political spectrum. Richard enriched and inspired all of us who got to know him
