Alison was a pillar in our family. I loved visiting Christchurch to see her and Ron--so many happy memories. Stacey and I will never forget a wonderful dinner we had with her in Washington DC while she and Ron were touring around the USA. She fostered my interest in the family tree and was so helpful in talking about family history and connecting with our relatives and ancestors. She was kind, insightful, and smart. We will miss her very much. So sorry we could not be in Christchurch with you all now.
