It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of Eric on March 2, 2024, surrounded by family at Christchurch Hospital, after a very short illness, in his 92^nd year. Loved husband of the late Lorna, deeply loved father and father-in-law of David and Tuihana, Andrew (deceased), and Richard and Anna, adored grandfather to Francesca, and Harry, much-loved brother-in-law,  uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Messages may be addressed to ‘The family of the late Eric Jack, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545’. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cholmondeley Children’s Centre would be appreciated and may be made directly to 03 0162 0158 425 00 (reference EA Jack). A funeral service to celebrate Eric’s life will be held at Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Friday, March 8, at 2.00pm.
