On December 25, 2024, peacefully at Holmwood – Rangiora Lifecare, aged 102 years. Beloved husband of Maria, much loved father and father-in-law of Alex and Tracy, and Petra, loved Grootvader of Brianna and Willem. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hato Hone St John would be appreciated and may be made online at: stjohn.org.nz.  The funeral service for Franz will be held in our Wai-mana Chapel, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora, on Tuesday December 31, at 2.30pm, followed by a private cremation.
