On October 13, 2024, passed away peacefully at Anthony Wilding, in the presence of family, aged 102 years. Much loved husband of the late Natalie, dearly loved father and father-in-law of Sheryl and the late Stuart Young, and Ian and Diane Wilson, beloved Grandad of Simon and Desiree Young, Chris and Ellie Young, Kimberley and Warren Guy; Vicki and Steve Henshaw, and Kelly and Chris Morison. Loved Great-Grandad John of Emmie, Genevieve; Malachi, Aphra; Daisy; Jack, Libby; Millie, and Penny. Loved brother and brother-in-law, and a loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate John’s life will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Friday, October 18, at 10.00am, followed by a  private cremation.
