On March 31, 2024, unexpectedly, but peacefully at Waikawa, aged 78 years. Adored husband and best friend of Carol, loved father and father-in-law of Angela and Andrew, Darin and Elle, and Debbie,  treasured Grandad of Brianna, Kate; Ethan, and Adam. Special friend of Anne and the late Bill, and a great friend and mate of many. Heartfelt thanks to the Emergency Staff and all the people who assisted John on Sunday. A service to celebrate John’s life will be held in our Rangiora Chapel, Wai-mana, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora, on Monday, April 8, at 10.30am, private cremation thereafter.
