(Ret. Det. NZ Police) It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of John on February 23, 2024, peacefully at home. Dearly loved husband of Kay, much loved father and father-in-law of Chris and Leigh, cherished Granddad of Ben, and Thomas. Loved son of the late Bill and Ril Whiting, and son-in-law of the late John and Win Hearn. Beloved brother, brother-in-law, and uncle.
