On 26 August, 2023, aged 93 years old, surrounded by his loving, and much loved, family. Dearly loved husband for 69 years of Marie and cherished, treasured and loving father of Krysia, Joanna and Vincent, Philip and Heather, Antony and Anita, John and Julie, and their families. Much loved Dziadzia of his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Son of Jan and Bronisława and brother of Konstanty, Aneta, Marian, Jadwiga (tragically deceased as a consequence of WWII – Soviet Union). Arriving in NZ in November 1944 with siblings Władzia and Franciszek (both deceased).

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church, 106 Main South Road, Sockburn, on Wednesday, August 30, at 11:00am. Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Tuesday, 29 August, at 6.30pm at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church, Sockburn.
