So terribly sad to hear of the sudden passing of our brother and uncle Lew. Will always have the fond memories of those fun days back in Hanmer and Amberly, big dinners, lots of laughs. A great and fun sense of humour and a mad Rugby fan. Lew was always someone we all looked up to, independent and a man's man. Will miss you Lew. Love always, The Portelli's

Please accept my deepest sympathy at Lewis’s passing,. He was well liked and will always be remembered as a happy go lucky guy. As a pre teenager he was pretty good boxer but he really showed what a better than average footballer he was when he played league as the Ngahere fullback!. I will always remember Lews favourite song he used to sing Rhinestone cowboy . gone but not forgotten.
