On October 18, 2023, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, aged 63 years. Loved son of the late Ian and Gwen, much loved partner of Fay, loved brother and brother-in-law of Helen and Paul, loved uncle of Ricky, and Louise, loved great-uncle of Rose, and Violet; Amelia, Kiya, and Daria. Respected father-figure of Andrea and John, Gerald, and Justine, Special Marty of Manaia, Kiana, and Jaxson, brother-in-law of David and Andrea, loved uncle of James, Jordan and Kate. Special thanks to the staff of Ward B6 at Christchurch Hospital for the outstanding care given to Marty.
