Dear Julie and family I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Trent after his very courageous battle over the last few months. I first met Trent in the early 90s when he joined the service team at Saxon Appliances. working with him until moving to Wellington in 1999, I was luckily to reconnect with Trent when Trent joined the Fisher & Paykel Service team and I got to spend many days out in the van with Trent when I was back in Christchurch, together sharing many stories of our days at Saxon Appliances and how the industry and the world had changed over the years. Trent was very passionate about safety and people being safe and doing thing correctly - "Test Prove Test & Don't Guess to Repair, Test to Repair" These two phases I re-enforce with my Technicians here in Wellington and I will always smile when doing so. I hope lots of great story's are shared on Thursday, sorry I wasn't able to make it down Trent was and has been in my thoughts during these last few weeks and will be sadly missed by us all.
