28.05.1940-24.08.2024. Soulmate of wife Alexandra (Anna) Midgley, he was gifted with the most beautiful voice, and their shared bond of music led to 52 special years of marriage. Father of Juliet, and Marcus, father-in-law of Gwyn, Grandole to Fritha, and Isaac, brother of Maryetta, brother-in-law of Dickie, Malcolm, Mardi, and David, and uncle of Rob, Sandra, Briony, Andy, Ollie, Finlay, Gabriela, Yiara, Sam, Sophie, and Charlie. A generous and gracious friend and colleague, and an inspiration to many, he slipped peacefully away surrounded by love.
